This blog has changed its focus....<br /><br />Edmonton Alberta is a dark city, an industrial city. This town is full of noise, and now we are turning up the volume. Tentatively beginning in July, there will be a monthly noise/experimental/ambient show featuring the <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_0">weird</span> and wonderful talents of our local futurist composers (or anti-composers depending on who you talk to). The basic idea is to have an open mic (or open input more accurately) and also some booked acts. We are not talking about singer/songwriter, jack <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_1">johnson</span> covers or anything like that. This open mic will be an onslaught of free thought. Noise, Experimental, and Ambient music as well as poetry, spoken word.....even visual artists are welcome.
